Introduction

OHSAS

OHSAS - the Occupational Health and Safety Advisory Service, part of Fife Primary Care NHS, is contracted to the University of Stirling to provide the following:

  • an Occupational Health service for the staff of the University
  • health screening and vaccinations for the student nurses and midwives

Physical and psychological health is dependent on many factors, not least the environment in which we work. Frequently the interaction between the employee and their workplace can adversely affect the health and well being of individuals.

To help the University of Stirling address these issues, OHSAS provides an extensive range of services designed to detect, assess and control the causes of occupational ill-health.

We offer an independent and confidential service specialising in the increasingly intricate area of occupational health. OHSAS is committed to best working practices.

Confidentiality is a very important part of our work. We keep records of your pre employment medical, and any other meetings we have with you, locked away in our Department.
